Château Guipière is committed to an ecological approach, adopting a number of environmentally-friendly practices. These include Mechanical tillage, which limits the use of chemicals. The estate no longer uses insecticides to protect its vines, and uses pheromone treatments to combat harmful insects. The estate began a C3 conversion this year on 7 hectares. It is with great pleasure and pride that we announce that two of our Muscadet cuvées have won medals at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris 2024. L'Etang 2023 was awarded a gold medal, while La Grange was awarded a silver medal. (Re)taste these two cuvées as well as all our wines by coming to meet us at the domaine.

The terroir of each wine estate is of paramount importance to the development of its vines and wines. The same grape variety gives different wines depending on the place where the vines grow. The know-how of the winegrower has a real impact on the diversity of the wines. The terroir represents this interaction between nature, the vine and the winemaker's practices. For more than five years, Stéphane, our farm manager, has made it a point of honour to persevere with biodiversity, a guarantee of an environmental approach, by eliminating insecticides, herbicides and the most toxic fungicides. As you know, nature is a force to be reckoned with.
