Château Guipière is committed to an ecological approach, adopting a number of environmentally-friendly practices. These include
- Mechanical tillage, which limits the use of chemicals.
- The estate no longer uses insecticides to protect its vines, and uses pheromone treatments to combat insect pests.
- The estate began a C3 conversion this year on 7 hectares.
- Organic certification is also planned for 2024 for the following vintages: L'Etang, La Tour, Cru Vallet and Cru Goulaine.
- Frost control is provided by a propeller tower, which protects a 7-hectare plot from late frosts.
All these commitments reflect Château Guipière's determination to produce quality wines, while respecting the environment and preserving the region's biodiversity.
